Not everyone can afford the membership cost of a fitness club, let alone home equipment. In case you cannot afford the brand new weight lifting equipment, there are a few alternatives.

There is no reason to skimp on exercise. If you are strapped for cash, a few of your household items to used goods make the perfect substitution for lifting weights:

-Determine the type of equipment you would like to buy. Set a budget price.

-Stop into consignment houses, resale shop or thrift stores. Many time people donate old workout equipment. In turn, these stores sell exercise gear for a steal.

-If you can’ find what you need within your price range, take a look around your home and you’ll find that many household items to canned goods represent weight. For instance, you can take empty water, milk or laundry detergent bottles with either water or sand. (It depends on how much you need to lift). The secure the bottle is to with heavy-duty tape, duct tape. Remember to use your scale to ensure the weight is appropriate for your needs.

Fitness tip:
Use the plastic household bottles with a handle. The weights can be used for additional resistance for lower body training. Exercises to body build your muscles in your upper body. Remember to adjust your homemade weights to your appropriate fitness level as you improve.

If you need a pair of dumbbells, consider your canned goods. Since cans come in different sizes, you can purchase ones that are easy to grasp and lift.
